What metal can resist higher temperatures than that of tungsten, and why?
The most melting metal element on the periodic tree is tungsten. Its 3,422-degree boiling point (boiling temperature 5,930) makes it the number one. Because of its high bond energy, tungsten melts at a much higher temperature than any other metal element.

Other elements can, however, be exposed to higher temperatures. The solid phase of carbon will then go into the gas phase.
There are no metals that do not melt at 10000 degrees. Even alloys have this melting point. It is composed of tantalum carbide (melting point close to 4000 ) and hafnium cadmium carbide (meltingpoint of approximately 4000 ). These materials have a higher melting temperature than tungsten.
Keep in mind that the material’s melt point is affected by its pressure. However, if the pressure or temperature rises beyond critical limits, the material loses its melting potential.
