Introduction to Spherical Quarz siO2 Powder Spherical Powder of Quartz Also known: Powdered sphere silicon Amorphous Quartz is an amorphous form of quartz. Silica is the principal ingredient. It has small, round individual particles. The powder is white with small particles of uniform size. Quartz powder in spheres For large-scale integrated Circuit Packaging packaging, this is its main purpose. It can also be used for high-tech applications such as aerospace, fine chemicals, and daily cosmetics.

The Physical Characteristics Of Spherical Quartz SiO2 pulver
Quartz powder in the form of spheres You have the option of having a flat or large surface with a specific material.
To create a smooth coating, you can mix the powder with resin. While it’s easy to combine resin and quartz powder into the mix, the volume of the latter is very large. It is possible to achieve mass fractions of as high at 90%. The thermal conductivity of quartz powders will be lower if there is a higher amount of filling. Also, plastic sealing materials have a lower thermo expansion coefficient. This can impact the performance of electronic components.
Spherical powder’s stress levels are 60% lower than those of angular. The second is that plastic sealant made from spherical Quartz dust has the highest strength and stress concentration. Protect the integrated circuit chips with plastic packaging made of spherical powder. The packaging material is made of spherical quartz powder, making it impossible for mechanical damage to occur during installation, transport and usage.
Another advantage is the non-sticky, smooth surface of the powdered dust. It also has a longer service life.

Spherical Quartz SiO2 Pulverization Methods
Plasma heating furnace and flame melting are two of the most commonly used methods for making sphere quartz.
1. Flame melting method High-temperature torch guns that emit 1600-2500 high flame temperatures are the basic idea behind ball-forming. When the powder is heated, its angular surface absorbs heat. It is then molten by the heat. Finally, heat is transferred to the powder and particles are completely molten. To achieve the desired product ball, surface tension will cause the object’s movement to be constant. The best is the most stable form.
2. Plasma heating furnace method This plasma is also known as hot plasma. One of the main characteristics of hot plasma is the temperature at the which electrons (Te), and ions (Ti), respectively, are heated. There are several types of thermal plasma: arc plasma; highfrequency plasma; induction plasma; and others.
For the production of quartz crystal spherical powder, plasma melting at high frequencies is employed. The process uses low temperatures and stability, produces high yields, and has a greater rate of spheroidization. The principle and methods of the plasma generator are identical to those used in flame melting. Plasma generator however replaces high-temperature heat sources.
3. Chemical Synthesis Silica sol is first made gel by treating it with ammonia/ammonium bicarbose. For hydrated spherical siliconea, the gel was then treated again with acid. Finally, silica powder was obtained by heating it. This product has low uranium content and is easy to agglomerate.
4. Hydrolysis is one method. Add the SiCl4 liquid and deionized to water, then mix at a steady speed. You will also stir the hydrolysate with a quartz rod. After washing the hydrolysate and filtering it, it will be dried and dehydrated until it reaches an even weight. This is done using a temperature control device between 100-200. For sintering, it is sent to a high-temperature furnace. High-temperature crystal formation and dehydroxylation are possible to get highly purified spherical Quartz particles in the desired sizes.

Application Pulverization of Spherical quartz SiO2
Quartz powder exhibits high levels of heat resistance, dielectricity and moisture resistance. The quartz powder can also be easily filled and is inexpensive.
Also, spherical quartz powder can be found in electronic ink, optical fibre and many other optical devices. This powder can be used to make special paint coat fillers.
