About Metal Alloy 17g/cm3 Tungsten Nickel Iron Bar Tungsten Alloy Bar:
Tungsten/nickel/iron is an alloy that has high sintering resistance, good strength, plasticity, and a small amount of ferromagnetism. It exhibits good plasticity and machineability, excellent thermal conductivity (and electrical conductivity), and has an exceptional absorption capability for -ray and X-ray.
Properties:
Excellent performance in extreme radiation environments, with low thermal expansion, high densities, radiation absorption, thermal and electrical conductivity as well as wear resistance.
Applications:
Tungsten is the most widely-used tungsten-based heavy alloy with the greatest amount. The sintered alloys are suitable for most purposes (counterweights, radiation shielding devices etc.). However, applications that demand high mechanical properties will need tungsten nickel-iron to be strengthened.
1. Tungsten -nickel – iron alloys are most often used in manufacturing gyroscope guides, gyroscopes and spacecraft.
2. Tool holders, boring bars, tool holders and automated watch weights to support machinery manufacturing are all die-casting tools;
3. Existing armor-piercing ammunition cores are available for both conventional weapons as well rivet heads and switches contacts to electrical products.
4. Furthermore, various components of radiation shielding are also manufactured from this material.
