Is europium oxide toxic?
Prothrombin can be reduced by salts of rare Earth elements. They also inactivate prothrombin. The salt can precipitate fibrinogen or catalyze phosphoric acid compound decomposition. Toxicity of rare earth elements drops as their atomic weight rises. It is mandatory to use a gas mask while working. You should wear a gas mask if there’s radioactivity. You should prevent the dust scattering.
