IMMEDIATE PRECAUTIONARY MEASURES: In an emergency, flush eyes with running water for several minutes and contact medical care. Inhalation is the most common hazard and can cause coughing, sneezing, shortness of breath and chest pains.
SOLIDS/WASTE: Large spills should be contained in an excavated pit or other holding area and surface runoff diked to prevent a hazardous release of cadmium bromide into the environment. Alternatively, waste can be treated with agricultural lime or crushed limestone and sodium bicarbonate before disposal.
COMPOSITION: The chemical is soluble in water, alcohol and slightly soluble in acetone and ether. It has weak oxidizing or reducing powers.

This material is a serious irritant to the skin and eyes.
